The Department of Biology of New Mexico State University announces the availability of the Scott Ellington Memorial scholarship.
Scott was a native of Las Cruces and the son of a NMSU faculty member. He was a senior biology student at the University of New Mexico when he was diagnosed with cancer. He lost his battle with the disease in 1994 and this scholarship was established by his family.
Applicants must be:
- Junior or Senior Biology majors
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0
