Congratulations to Grace Smith Vidaurre on her receipt of an NSF Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Biology. Grace will be conducting her postdoctoral work with Erich Jarvis at Rockefeller and NMSU graduate Liz Hobson at U Cincinnati. She will be addressing the hypothesis that early-life stress shapes vocal learning phenotypes by altering heritable DNA methylation patterns in brain vocal learning centers.
