Yashoda Kandel wins the College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Graduate Award!

Yashoda is working on the development and testing of artificial diets for different species of mosquitoes that can replace blood meals. She is focused on how such diets affect the mosquitos general and reproductive fitness. Her project is part of a larger effort to develop green alternatives to pesticides for mosquito control.
